GREG FLYNT
California native, Greg, bravely joined our team of women in the Spring 2018. Greg is extremely handy and enjoys doing his own projects at his own home. This gives him a ton of experience with our products so he can pass on his knowledge to our customers! Greg is labeled our magical ordering manager which means he guesses what everyone needs before they need it, all during a crazy raw material shortage driving sales up and supplies down. Yikes!
When he isn’t at the shop, you will find him visiting his family in Lake City, dirt biking, making pottery in his studio, skiing, and just enjoying the many things the Gunnison Valley has to offer!

MALLORY ZIMMERMAN
Originally from Michigan, Mal joined us in 2022 and became the teams left arm. You could live without her, but it would be really hard and sad. Her infectious laugh and attitude help us keep our smiles going, even when we have tough days. She left in October 2023 with a year long visa in New Zealand. When she asked to come back a little early because she didn't want to miss a Crested Butte Summer, we jumped at adding her back to the team! When she's not at the shop, she's kicking ass at biking and softball, or snowboarding.

JACINDA MAHAN
Originally from Missouri, Jacinda graduated from Western State Colorado University in 2015 with a degree in business management. Jacinda joined our team in 2016 and quickly learned the ins and outs of a very complicated and technical business. She is a trained certified paint and colorist expert, but also helps run run this small business with her business knowledge.

Jacinda isn’t currently at the shop because she just welcomed her newest family member June 13th 2024, her baby boy Bennett Mahan! But we aren't ready to say good by and unsure of the future, so he face will stay on the about us page since she has been a team member and crucial to the growth of Mt Colors for 8 years! ​

Lisa Vukovich
Washington state native, Lisa joined us late 2023 and she is getting the hang of this crazy business with her infectious laugh. Her detail oriented brain is helping organize the back end of things which no one realizes are crucial to the success of this store. Our customers are always first but you can't stay open without paying your bills!

Kim Raines
I moved to Crested Butte literally one day after graduating from Colorado State University in 2002. My family vacationed here since I was born and I wanted to spend a year after college in Crested Butte to decide how I planned to use my psychology degree and what my expectations were for my future. However, as many before me, I found it impossible to leave. I fell in love with the lifestyle and the community of this town, met my husband and started a family. As luck would have it, I came upon Mountain Colors in May 2004 in the employment column in the Crested Butte News. The job was meant to be a fun summer job while I searched for a “real job”, yet it became my new passion – color and design. I had always felt lost in the professional side of life until I let my creativity take over. Finding a way to keep that creativity alive became a priority. That was the main reason I purchased the business from the previous owners in October 2006. The design aspect of this business challenges me daily as I try to stay on top of new and upcoming products and design trends. And the small business aspect of this business challenges me in a whole different way as I try to stay competitive, reliable, and profitable in the building industry.

When not in the store, you can find me skiing with my Husband Bryan and 2 boys Hugh (16) and Bode (13) in the winter, biking in the summer, and just enjoying the lifestyle we all work so hard for in Crested Butte!
